Another congratulations is in order for our team over at Continental Nissan.
Our team has proved once again how we are driven to care at Continental Motors, as Continental Nissan was recently awarded with the Five Star Dealer Award from Edmunds.com – for the third year in a row. These awards are given annually to dealerships who have earned a five-star rating on Edmund.com’s Dealer Ratings and Review page.
So, how does a dealership become eligible?
In order to qualify for this award, a dealership must be an Edmunds.com Promise PartnerSM dealer and have earned an average customer rating that rounds up to five stars on Edmunds.com, with a minimum of 20 reviews during the previous two years (as of Dec. 31, 2013).

To be eligible for the Five Star Dealer Award, the Dealer Partner must have earned an average customer review rating of five stars at edmunds.com. The dealer must have a minimum of 20 reviews during the previous two years as of December 31, 2014. The awards recognize car dealers who earned the highest marks for customer satisfaction in Edmunds.com’s Dealer Ratings and Reviews.

At Continental Motors, we talk a lot about being driven to care for our customers.
However, we understand that talking about it and showing it are two different things. That’s why we’d like to shine the spotlight on four of our salesmen at Continental Honda for this week’s blog.
These salesmen are the District’s 2015 Council of Sales Leadership (COSL) winners. Terrence (Terry) Scudieri, Robert (Bob) Oligiewicsz have earned the Gold Master Award. Victor Ponce and Saul Camacho have achieved the Gold level status.
The program recognizes top performing sales consultants in the areas of training, sales, and sales and delivery satisfaction. Essentially, these gentlemen have demonstrated that they really know their stuff.

It’s no secret that auto dealerships consume a lot of energy and water.
With their bright showrooms, service centers, car washes and body shops, there is a lot of room for practice when talking about energy efficiency.
Fortunately, Continental Acura of Naperville has stepped up to the plate, taking greater measures to improve their status as a “Green Dealer”. Such efforts have earned them the Gold Environmental Leadership Award from Acura, which they were presented with Thursday.
So, how does a dealer become a “Green Dealer”?
Acura dealers everywhere can opt in for the “Green Dealer” program. This program based on a comprehensive set of environmental best practices designed by Acura specifically for auto dealerships.
Dealers that participate can achieve Silver, Gold or Platinum status based on verified energy reduction. Continental Acura achieved a 30 percent reduction in total energy use and met a threshold of 45 points, earning them Gold-level status.
Continental Acura has taken the necessary steps to be eligible for this award through tracking electricity, gas and water consumption on a monthly basis, making improvements recommended by experts and implementing where necessary. In fact, according to greendealer.acura.com, they are the only Acura dealership in Illinois that is a “Green Dealer”.
“I’m proud that Continental Acura has received this recognition award for its efforts to reduce energy use and help preserve our environment,” Dealer Principal Joel Weinberger said. “We have over 75 employees working everyday to do the best for our customers, and this award exemplifies our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our business.”
With better technologies like energy efficient lighting, high performance windows and doors, smart irrigation systems, solar PV and so much more, dealerships around the country can take action in reducing their carbon footprint, making a positive impact on the community.
