2015 Toyota Sienna vs. 2015 Honda Odyssey
Simply put, these aren’t the vans we grew up with. What was once a segment reserved simply for the “parents-who-immediately-regretted-not-getting-an-SUV” subset has now fully evolved into a living, breathing animal, with models and features that have moved the segment comfortably away from the grocery-getting cliche. Two of the most popular models for several years now return in the form of the 2015 Toyota Sienna and the 2015 Honda Odyssey, each of which is now available from the Continental Motors Group family of dealerships.
Each is equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine, which infuses these minivans with a power and versatility that was missing in years past. And, while the Odyssey eclipses the Sienna in terms of passenger volume, each offers seating for up to eight occupants with cargo room to spare. Who would have thought, looking back at the uninspiring models of old, that minivans would have ever come so far?
Both of these terrific vehicles, the 2015 Toyota Sienna and the 2015 Honda Odyssey, can now be found at the Continental Motors Group family of dealerships in the Chicago area. Test drive yours today!
Features abound in the 2015 Toyota Sienna and 2015 Honda Odyssey
You might be able to argue that there is a braintrust that assembled a few years back and said, “Let’s see if we can make the minivan cool.” And, after a few “this-I-gotta-hear” eyerolls and condescending smirks, the early sketches of the 2015 Toyota Sienna and the 2015 Honda Odyssey emerged from the conversation. Comfortable interior cabins, thoughtful features, eye-catching exterior styling--it was a new day for the minivan.
Want proof? Last year, Honda introduced the HondaVac, an on-board vacuum that made a nation of parents say, “What took you so long?” The most common debris from road trips--crumbs, dirt, etc.--are now a thing of the past. Not to be outdone, this year Toyota adds the “Driver Easy Speak” feature to the Sienna’s package, which allows drivers to speak directly to passengers in the rear seat without turning around or shouting. We can call this, “What took you so long, Exhibit B.”
So come see for yourself how far the minivan has come by test-driving these two models at the Continental Motors Group family of dealerships!
